Barnsley CVS means Community and Voluntary Services.

Barnsley CVS is a new chapter for their organisation. After two years of planning in April 2019 Barnsley CVS officially launched. Taking over from Voluntary Action Barnsley and Priory Campus Development Trust.

They support volunteers, local charities, voluntary and community groups and social enterprise organisations.

As the infrastructure organisation in Barnsley for the voluntary and community sector, they provide high-quality services to give the sector stability, support and status to help it prosper.
